Coastal assault
Operation Starlite is a coastal map inspired by the 1965 battle. It mixes landing beaches, scrub and village treelines, creating a very different fight from the dense jungle theatres.
Terrain & flow
Open beach approaches favour fire support and armour, while the treelines and villages behind them offer cover for defenders and ambushes. Boats can be decisive for flanking along the coast.
Tactics
Attackers should use smoke and suppression to cross open sand, then clear the treelines methodically. Defenders should anchor on the villages and contest the beachhead early.
