With the game live, Expression Games has begun outlining the road ahead for Hell Let Loose: Vietnam, including continued PS5 fixes and technical improvements.
Known issues being addressed
The team is tracking audio and VOIP problems, visual quality concerns (especially on console), settings that fail to save, keybind issues and persistent HUD elements. Many are already being worked into the first patches.
On friction and mastery
Game Director Paul Rustchynsky has been vocal about the design philosophy: a little friction is what makes success satisfying, and games with friction tend to have a higher mastery ceiling. That philosophy underpins Vietnam's deliberate, teamwork-driven pacing.
What's next
The game is a live service. Expect regular updates covering performance, balance, new maps (locations like Huế and Hạ Long Bay are being explored) and ongoing technical upgrades.
