US air mobility
Helicopters are the defining American system in Hell Let Loose: Vietnam. They move troops and supplies across the map, provide fire support, and enable fast forward basing through officers' Field Pad spawn points.
What the Huey enables
A well-used helicopter lets a US team reposition a whole flank, deliver supplies to a new garrison, or insert troops directly onto an objective. Flight handling has been refined and helicopters are more resilient to small-arms fire.
The NVA counter
The NVA answers air mobility with tunnel networks and concealment, forcing helicopters to guess where the real threat is and punishing predictable landing zones.
